The Flying Messenger; Ethan Vaz (9I)

These birds are so unique,
With a strong and streamlined physique.
People say they should be abolished,
But many of us are so astonished.

The common pigeon so dull and pale,
But long ago they used to deliver your mail.
So many breeds such as the blue bars,
But they are like fast aero stars.

You can find them in cities,
As they soar through the skies with such ease
They are known as the rats with wings,
As they sing by your window sill.

These birds are like majestic dragons,
As they try to escape the hungry falcons.
We need to change the pigeon’s reputation,
To spread the word about the fascination.
