Beacon of Unity is a novel humanitarian community platform I created to help people connect, support one another, and access trusted local information. It brings together help requests, offers of support, lost and found, reliable local news, community recognition, and verified interactions in one accessible platform.
The project addresses the growing disconnect between communities by making it easier for people to support those around them when it matters most. Unlike conventional social media platforms, Beacon of Unity introduces a purpose-built approach to meaningful, real-world community support.
Designed to be adaptive and scalable, the platform currently covers communities across the UAE and can be adapted for schools, companies, residential communities, cities, and countries, while allowing each community to maintain its own local identity and needs.
Nominated for the 2026 Seoul Design Award, Young Designer Award (Concept).
