Until dipped into the sea – the river,
Was all the same with all its glimmer,
The only thing that made difference,
Were the banks along the fence.
On one wandered people with pride,
As it rained sapphires and diamonds,
In contrary lived people amort,
And fading patches on urchin’s torn clothes.
That they quarreled and wrangled,
Was for long a fable,
A day came that a bridge was built,
And the rest laid in history.
Ages down there, will be telling I,
Once a river beneath a bridge with all its charm,
And a bridge joined a half with another,
And now therein just harmony.
