‘I’ll do it later’- Poem by Ankshita Tiwari 7-I

“I’ll do it later.”

“Who really cares? I’ll just do it later.”

Your mind fiddles up, you’re now a debater

Remember that one time? You cut yourself with a stapler,

All because you were in a hurry, and decided to do it later.

Yeah, watching a movie sounds like fun, on plain paper.

But the consequences of your actions are far more greater.

My friend told me to work harder, I’ll just do it later

But deep down inside, you know your heart is a traitor.

So you should learn your lesson, and not be a time-waster.

Or else time will evaporate just like water vapor.
