Smile More! By Amoghavarsha Bhat

Smile! Smile is the key to unlock hearts and minds. It makes us and people around us happier.  Smiling has a favourable influence upon others and makes one likable and more approachable.

What is the first thing we do when we meet our friends? We smile! It creates happy waves in our hearts. Similarly, haven’t felt good, when a co-passenger in a lift or public transport has casually smiled at us, even though he or she is a stranger? A smile breaks the ice and paves a path for further communication. Have you observed that even a grumpy person relaxes when he sees a smiling baby? That’s the power of a smile.

A simple smile of appreciation from our elders or seniors surely helps us to do better in our work and play. Peace begins with a smile too! An act of compassion accompanied with a smile could mean a lot to a sad person.“A warm smile is the universal language of kindness” – said William Arthur Ward.

Whenever there is a big task ahead of you, go ahead, just remember to smile and do it with a positive mindset. It would be a cakewalk for you. It really helps! Whatever you are doing right now, it is never too late to smile.

A genuinely smiling face emits positivity and confidence (No fake smiles here please!). And with positivity and confidence, we can excel in anything and everything.

There is a saying that, it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. So, whatever is your reason, keep smiling and be happy!
