Mom you’ve always given me abundantly,
your caring love and constant support.
I’ve always wondered how you do it all mom,
being a teacher, doctor and adviser to me,
yet finding time to listen to my secrets and worries.
I just couldn’t understand.
As I’ve grown with time,
I now understand that it is your love for me,
that has given you these superpowers,
to surpass all the hurdles in your way.
Even though I’ll get my own wings to fly,
