‘Mood and Manner’- Poem by Krishna Anand 12J

Loads of people suffer from mood swings and related problems. This poem is specifically dedicated to all those who are victims of the problems mentioned below and enquire the potential to overcome the same.

They are so unpredictable,

You just cannot say;

Not forgetting to mention irresistible,

Difficult to play away;

There’s no use of any banner,

Control your mood, control your manner.

You never know when they turn good,

Long before you understood;

They may turn around,

And left you mercilessly drowned;

Remember, you can’t use any spanner,

Control your mood, control your manner..

 It is difficult for everyone,

Hasn’t be escaped by anyone;

Anytime, you can expect a swing,

Jumping back and forth like a spring;

It doesn’t spare a manor,

Control your mood, control your manner.

When going through bad times,

Don’t find excuses to commit little crimes;

Instead, try to get rid of it,

To save yourself from falling into the pit;

You can’t make yourself tight like a canner,

Control your mood, control your manner.

 If you see a victim,

Let him be himself;

You must hereby dictum,

That you will let one discover oneself;

Won’t you find this in any planner,

Control your mood, control your manner.

Changing moods are absolutely natural,

All must work in collateral;

To ensure least damage,

And reducing instances to savage;

As for the issue, there isn’t any scanner,

Control your mood, control your manner.

As a matter of conclusion,

No one should face exclusion;

We, the humanitarian society,

Must ensure utmost propriety;

Follow your emotions like a fanner, (But don’t forget to)

Control your mood, control your manner.
